Experiences of a colorblind deviant
If you notice that my colors are off, or that I prefer to work either mono-chromatically or in high color saturations, there is good reason. Like a lot of males I'm red-green color blind thanks to a defective gene on my X chromosome (thanks mom).
When I tell people, they assume that I see in gray scale, but that's not how it works for me. Some colors difficult for me, cool-greens and grays, blues and purples, browns and oranges. So if you see one of my colors looks funny, either enjoy it 'cause that's how I see, or drop me a note.
P.S: Wouldn't it be better if all colors were labeled in hex?
P.P.S: A poem from think geek for :
Roses are #FF0000
Violets are #0000FF
All my base are belong to you
